The west gable.

The west gable at St Andrews Cathedral. Built from 1158: and then reconstructed and re-engineered over the following centuries due to storm and the consequences of historic events. Far too much of the site is still off-limits, Historic Environment Scotland have been undertaking, “repair and maintenance” for several years. I remember the day that some of the many internal fences started to go up. Shameful really.

The guy from the Community Trust delivered and stacked some good quality locally sourced hardwood logs. We used several in our old stove this evening, They proved to be of good quality.
