Day by the river

Spent a lovely, if a bit hot, day by the river at Bedford. Midday we went round the newly refurbished Cecil Higgins museum and art gallery which was both interesting and cooler than outside. Then a park bench picnic under a shady tree before walking along the embankment. Very enjoyable.
