Pacific Quays

Nick and i went into the BBC again this morning and discussed ideas for a future season of Nightsleeper.  Together we got to a really good place which was exciting.   This is the exciting view from the canteen at PQ, I have been here a few times and it’s always surprising.  It’s a lovely building on the inside..probably one of the best of the BBC builds. 

Caught the plane south, only just made it as the holiday queues at the airport were so immense.  Nice to be back in the much warmer south.  

It’s Mum’s 92nd birthday today and we, plus Jono and Sue took her out to dinner at the revamped Pub with No Name. With strong memories of getting lost on the way there with Anu several years ago V drove very firmly on the SatNav with the result that we went through the most labyrinthine series of tiny roads. The food was much better than it was before and they brought her out a jelly with a candle on it which was rather pleasing.
