Another Lone Gull ...

... this time catching the evening light. Didn't pick the camera up until then.

I went to Currys this morning to try and get some advice on which laptop I should choose to replace this one which won't run Lightroom.  The sales staff didn't inspire confidence.

After lunch I went to John Lewis in Welwyn Garden City. JLP used to be my go-to but I've been a bit underwhelmed in the recent past. Today was different. I was helped by a charming person on his first day back from working on a project at Head Office. We narrowed down which machine would suit me. I told him about the pop up message from Lightroom that says my drivers are out of date. He connected my machine to the wi-fi and did a driver update which took about an hour and he showed me which updates to do when I got home. He said once they were done Lightroom might work and I wouldn't need to get a new laptop. Unfortunately he was wrong. :( I was so grateful to him for trying though. I'm going back on Sunday to get the replacement.

The latest news on the family nursery front is that my errant nephew has gone to Spain. Hooray!
