The Tadpole

Time to show Glenn and Malyn the town where we live, so this morning MrM drove us in to Holmfirth for breakfast at Beatties, followed by a stroll around the town.

Then back home briefly so that Glenn and Malyn could pack their cases into their hire car, after which we all drove over to Hebden Bridge. It was a lovely day, so not surprising that we ended up parking quite a way from the centre, but it was a lovely walk by the canal to get into the town. The Tadpole's 'garden' is really splendid! Just time to explore briefly, browse around the market, and have lunch before walking back to our cars. Then, sadly, time to say goodbye to G and M as they set off on the next leg of their journey to Blackpool to stay with relatives there.
