Slowly slowly

My tomato plants have been very slow to get to this stage this year.  They are outdoor ones but I guess the summer hasn't been the best (understatement of the year!) but finally I can see a little colour coming to a few so perhaps we will get a couple soon. 
A nice surprise to have our eldest drop by for the day.. usual washing pile and a shower but we had a happy time doing a few projects together while everything dried. 
The sun has shone.. mostly.. but it isn't warm at all.
