A wet start to Twinwood

Milton Keynes parkrun was fab.  So much to see. I palled up with a lovely lady who was running at my pace wearing a rare 500 T shirt who gave me a guided tour - a delightful lady! A peace pagoda; the famous zigzag incline; ancient stone circle; 2 lakes; a bridge; a subway - I could go on ... It was Claire's first ever parkrun - good for her to keep at it in the rain  - she is a good example to her husband. 

Rain first day at Twinwood. But it didn't dampen our enthusiasm. We saw it as a chance to look round the village and visit the bars and various stages.

The rain soon passed over so we enjoyed a dry evening dancing and appreciating the live music and atmosphere. Our 'love train' was impressive too, even though I say it myself.
