Ellen Reid & Kronos Quartet - Strawberry Hill Ascent

Very very wet day across Japan today with Typhoon ShanShan coming in hot. Made it to work this morning, on time and no major drama unless you call pants, shoulders, arms and shoes and socks socked in mobile puddles drama. Somehow, it felt like a mental cleansing, my mind so sharp on getting where I needed to go, the rain not violent but rushingly warm and gentle. Somehow it couldn’t let me down. It usually would when I was younger yet it felt like an adventure.

Although I woke up earlier than usual, I got my yoga and exercise in, got to work fine, had an awesome team to coordinate rearrangements for the impending train delays but still got the work done. It’s really good! I’m very lucky that we could get it done and safely.

Got lunch, had a great dinner, got prepped and ready for tomorrow, did my study on the train, read 20 pages of a book I’m currently reading, there is nothing I can’t achieve if I put my mind to it.
