Back to Normal

Wednesdays are pretty rough for me for a number of reasons. Little Man and I spent the day together. We had a friend, Myrte, round with her son, Lucas. Lucas is about a year and a half now and gets on splendidly with Little Man. Then we went out and did a bit of shopping before we went home. Caleb popped in to see us before dinner, which was lovely. After dinner, I got Little Man ready for bed. After he was down, I got myself ready for life group.

I had been put in contact with a lovely young lady from the nearby church, by my dad. He knows a few people in that congregation and they recommended her when he was asking about a babysitter. When she came round, I left. The life group was lovely. I just found it a bit challenging on my energy levels. I'll explain, being a full time, single mum means that my days are spent with my son and the evenings are my recharge times. So I find life group is a bit of a sacrifice but one that I'm happy to make as I think it's important to connect with other people in my church.
