Whew.... it is hot !

The second flush of Alliums is starting to go over but still look quite pleasing. The lawn is turning brown in the heat & the plants are starting to look very dry & withered already. The pots are flagging but are picking up now I have watered them.

Quiet day again today -because of the heat I am painting in the cool of the evening tonight. Must call Denos about my new boots as my foot is feeling tons better now & I am in dire need of some new footwear. The roof panel is being done tomorrow & I must trim a bush that is close by otherwise it will be more than difficult for the fitters. Then next Thursday the carpet is being fitted which will mean we can get back to normal. I'm pleased to say that the massacred front hedge is starting to shoot.
