variety of color and texture

The garden by the entrance to our neighborhood is hand planted by  landscapers. At first it looks very sparse, more dirt between the  tiny plants than there are plants. But by the end of the summer the garden is brimming with a variety of blooms (and a few green weeds) and looks almost like a hand picked bouquet.
