Eshaness

For no good reason this was only our first visit of the year to Eshaness. A calm sea so no big waves crashing into the cliffs. The cliffs average around 50 feet high at the edge of a very bleak treeless landscape. Quite a few people about and the carpark at the lighthouse was as busy as I've seen it.
In the extras there are the Holes of Scradda and a view of the Loch of Houlland. Somehow in the 1980's I managed to get to the bottom of the Holes of Scradda but I can only think that some of the rockface has broken off since then as there is no way I would even contemplate it now.
