keepingcup with kolleagues

Back in the office again for a long meeting.  It's a change to get to chair now instead of being the dogsbody who took the minutes.  Now though I have to mark the minutetaker's work which takes almost as long.  It was good to see a few of my colleagues at lunchtime because they are less frequent officegoers than I am, and I am quite infrequent.  It was also nice to have a final catch up with our now ex-beekeeper after lunch.

Sat in on another meeting late afternoon which draaaaaaged on, and I already had another headache.  I had cleverly left any pain meds at home, so I yawned huge yawns and sat with my eyes closed for some of it which was OK as it was online this time.

I perked up a bit once back in the fresh air and Fidra and I pottered home.  The bypass was super busy.  In fact the traffic all day today has been terrible.

My arranged-weeks-in-advance telephone appointment with my GP this afternoon never happened.  I stayed in the office as long as I had energy for, I put my phone in my pocket and switched Le Cardo on for the trip home just in case, I made tea with my phone next to me, I watched half an hour of a film on my phone…and they just never called.
