Reward

Most mornings I take my courage in both hands before having a look at what is happening on the dark side - Facebook in other words. Mostly it is still folk howling at the moon, but occasionally I get a nice, positive surprise. 

Today was one of those. 

My former employee Rūta announced that she has set up her own law firm. I always get a little buzz from seeing former colleagues doing well, even 30 years down the line. She must have been newly qualified when she worked for me and so keen to learn. She soaked everything up like a sponge. 

I hope it works out for her.

I celebrated with a chocolate eclair.
