Afternoon Tea for two

Up early to take Poppy to the vets for planned surgery - dental work, cyst removal and claws clipped.  Back home in good time so took two trips to the charity shops (shared across two different charities).

Back at the beginning of July, my sister visited the residential care home that AJ stayed in - she’s been knitting blankets and poppies for them.  They had a “summer fayre” on at the time and as a thank you they offered her some tickets for their tombola - she won an afternoon tea for two!

Today we visited the care home for our tea - very nice sandwiches, scones and cakes with hot drink - we couldn’t eat it all.
