FIRECRACKER BUSH

The Hummingbirds love the long tubular
flowers of this FIRECRACKER BUSH
in my front garden. When I was dragging
the garbage cans up from the street, I
saw this Hummingbird going from flower to flower. Sometimes mundane chores
include happy surprises.

Today, I also went to lunch with my best friend & her mother, to a wonderful fish restaurant. We had char-grilled oysters, a chopped salad & I had Pacific Sand Dabs, with spinach. Everything was delicious!
