West wall

The building of the west wall, i.e. the part at the west side where we will have a wall too, has been started. We dug a 4.5m long ditch. Yes, we, because Teba also helped to bring the dug-out soil away.
We then re-calculated the number of palisades and found out that we were missing half a dozen. (Well, actually we were missing a dozen, but since we cut long blocks of granite into two shorter blocks and use those as palisade ....) So, off we went to the hardware store.
Another annoying day for our neighbours to come, with granite dust and stone cutting noise.
Did I mention that Caspar was nosy and was often in our way?
