During my travels to the north part of Sweden, one of my friends gave me this guitar. I was very surprised. He had it hanging on the wall and I commented on it being beautiful and wondered where he got it from, he couldn't quite remember and asked me if I wanted it, because it needs some repairs to be able to play and he knew he was never going to do that
I've spent a part of the day finding someone who can do it and managed to localise one on the west coast of Sweden so I'll probably send it there to be looked at by a professional.
The guitar is probably built during the fifties, by a, so far, unknown builder. There is a stamp inside it indicating where it's built but none of the guitar-builders I talked to knows anything about that place. Interesting. I really would like to have it playable if it is possible and not too expensive, I like it, it's a rather unusual model for a guitar.
I had my third (of five) TBE vaccine today, I'm not plagued by tics very often but the number of TBE cases in this area are increasing so I'm getting the protective shots as a precaution
