Ginger tabby cat

Walking in the  morning to check on something, found the substantial area of mews and gardens behind the grand terraces at the West end of the New Town, graced by a cat which mewed at me, but didn't come to be stroked .. The buildings are described here as the Mews for 12-17 Charlotte Square. 

Afternoon wander through Rose Street; the density of the crowd has lessened somewhat as the Festival and Fringe have ended.
