Last of the Rosebay Willowherb

Blue skies when I get up. It is a shame it doesn't last long, cloud moves in. By the time I have change the bedding, it is quite dull on the wee daunder around the park. Photo shows the last flowers on the Rosebay Willowherb. Some plants are releasing seeds.

After coffee, in spits and spots of rain, I go out and trim the hedge in the front garden. I manage to trim back most of it before the motor stops working. I still manage to fill the garden recycling bin though.

After lunch, the rain intensifies. So no walk to Swanston. Instead just looking through photos I haven't published, and back blip one from a while back. Then I blip Saturday's blip.

The rain just go off a bit after 5pm, so partner, who has not been out today, and I go for a wee walk. Just 1.9 km. We get home just in time for the next heavy burst of rain. The sun does come out while we have our tea. But it is late August, so it doesn't last long.
