Kirengeshoma palmatum bud
It seems the common name for this is Yellow Wax Bells but I have only ever known it as Kirengeshoma. This is our second plant the first nearly needed an act of parliament to be able to buy. We popped into a little private nursery near Lorton, spotted it under a bench and asked to buy it. I can't sell that without my husband saying yes! Ok where is he, Whitehaven Market! So off we went on asking the man said "how did you see that I had put it under the bench. However he did agree to sell it to us so off we went back to Lorton. This one was easier to get our hands on, again a small private nursery this time at Dalston.
The morning was spent helping to erect a marquee in the village hall grounds. This is for a holiday club the church is running. Without wishing to blow my own trumpet too much I knew more about putting that type of marquee up than anybody else. After all I have put up ours at shows for years, once even on my own.
