Trains
Didn’t sleep well and was up at six thirty, active all day and now feel like I could drop.
We went to see the train in Alston, first train was on its way back to the station when we were walking along the side of the track. We heard the whistle blowing and then it appeared, the little one was beyond excited. Back a the station they were putting in water and then the engine driver and fireman sat on the platform for a break and told SiL he could get on with the little one. Grandson didn’t want to get on but his daddy did.
Nice pub lunch and then on the way back we stopped to show them the model village we found a few weeks ago.
Daughter and hubby went out for a stroll with the dogs while I cooked dinner. After dinner the parents went to the pub and hubby and I had an active time playing before getting the little one ready for bed. He was just on his way up when he spotted mummy out of the side window so wanted her to take him up.
Off home tomorrow for a rest and they are staying until Sunday.
