Energy

I didn't have many original ideas when it came to today's Mono Monday, hosted by ApollowFly, topic Energy. So I waited for inspiration.  Whilst we were sitting at Cafe Afloat having coffee I looked at the bridge that goes across the stretch of water between the outer and inner marinas. This bridge has to be opened manually, as do most lock gates. That must take some energy, and to add I took the photo as a bicycle was crossing.  On close examination i think it was an electric bike, energy supplied from a battery!
