122 Sleeps...
You're welcome :-))
Agnes and Adrian stayed over and for breakfast we had Stottie (a type of bread originating in the north east of England, given to us by Alan's support worker Penny, who is a proud Geordie :-) with smoked bacon and maple syrup. Delish!
Weather was dismal no change there so we headed to Glendoick Garden Centre, where we had their delicious lentil and bacon soup for lunch (just lentil for Agnes :-) We were confronted by displays of Christmas cards, candles and calendars as we entered the place. Won't be long! lol
The plan was after lunch the guys would go to the golf trolly shop along the road (D is considering buying an electric trolley after hiring one recently in Wales and being impressed by it) whilst Agnes and I perused the rather lovely garden centre shop. Unfortunately the golf trolley centre was closed so D & A had to amuse themselves in the garden centre shop also. They were rewarded with coffee and cake when Agnes and I had seen all we needed to see.
Agnes and Adrian headed home. They are off on Saturday for a walking holiday on the Amalfi Coast and are a little concerned about how hot it will be. Not something we have to concern ourselves with here. Another day of heavy rain!
FaceTime with a couple of idiots pals before dinner then spent a chunk of the evening researching crochet projects I want to attempt for the arrival of our new great niece. She's not due till the end of January but I ned to start now to have any chance of completing them (almost finished a baby blanket and want to have a go at a dress and bonnet) Lovely new pink and white yarn arrived yesterday :-))
Seven years today since our gorgeous girl came to her forever home. Happy Gotcha Day Lola :D xxx
