Mixed Monday

This huge hibiscus grows in a nearby garden, and the flowers are as big as breakfast plates - very impressive. 

Today is the start of the new school year in the state of Hesse. When I went to the gym and grocery shopping this morning,  I promptly got stuck in a traffic jam. Looks like I need to work on my timing.

Work in the afternoon made the day a normal, mostly boring Monday.
