The Guardian Warriors

 Only a short stroll today along the Wolds Way from Wintringham. At the top of the climb from the village are these fabulous carved oak figures based on finds of tiny carved chalk figurines excavated from iron age sites in the plain below. I've blipped these figures before (Feb 19th 2023 if anyone's interested) taken from much the same angle. Does anyone else go to the same places and take the same photos over and over again?!?
