Deal: Piercturesque

More blustery in large

Im and I headed to Deal to see what it has to offer. 
We'd planned to start at the pier, but stopped short of the town centre when we found a large antiques (/bric-à-brac) sale by the beach on our way along the coast... It didn't take much willpower to come away empty-handed, although we enjoyed the atmosphere, and we then went on to see the pier and to try out one of Deal's cafés ("Popup". Today's batch brew was excellent).

When I took my blip photo, it was sunny to the left (north, towards Ramsgate) and very rainy to the right (south, towards Dover), which added an slightly thrilling sense of peril to walking along the pier...
