Silk

The beans at the allotment haven't grown more than a couple of feet this year, although they are still producing (some) fruit. The ones in the garden have done very well and have kept the two of us adequately supplied, plus lots for the freezer.

I went for a long hack (horse riding, usually along bridal paths or quiet roads) this morning with some people from the yard I ride at. We went along some amazingly pretty and secluded bridal ways, some of which I knew some I'd never been down before. Annoyingly I managed to lose my hat silk  and almost my hat (fortunately not my head) as I dodged (or didn't) a branch and the clip came undone mid canter. Cue holding on to horse with one hand and hat with the other for a bit, amidst much laughing.
