The C word

Oh no!  Not only did one of you mention a certain winter festival on Blip yesterday, but I opened the local paper and found a whole page of pictures of the local zoo's 'Snow Day', with decorated fir trees and a certain white-bearded man wearing a long red dressinggown.  And then this morning in the reserve this cheeky little person came right up to me, head on one side as s/he listened to the camera shutter, and began begging for mealworms!  I mean, I thought we were still in summer (just)?!!

A lot of rain in the night, but it's been a beautiful day and for me a nicely lazy one.  And once again, as I type this, I have the house to myself.  Tomorrow will be busy, so perhaps that's just as well.
