Summer Dreams

An 11-year-old girl, a 20-year-old mare, an arena to themselves, an instructor who works beautifully with both of them -- heaven!

A day full of many activities and fun together -- both Z and me (food shopping at our co-op, earring-making at a local bead shop), and B and Phil (see here, with Z also in the picture, late afternoon), and then all four of us together for supper at La Fiamma -- Duck Cherry Pizza (duck confit, fresh cherries, fennel apple pesto, almonds, chevre, pecorino cheese) for Phil and me, smoked salmon penne for Z and B and ice cream from Mallard (fresh fig for us, peppermint for them), eaten at home on the deck.

Some of us are more tired than others, but all of us had a good time today!
