Sunflowers

Their yellow petals have gone, their seed heads are brown and they are bending over. They won’t be harvested until the stem and leaves are dark brown, and that won’t  be for another six weeks or so. 
We took Elvis for a long walk this morning and I spent the rest of the day ironing gîte sheets.
