High tide at the marina…

I was well organised for MonoMonday today but really the universe was against me. Firstly the weather which was very calm but started to rain just as I left the house. I thought the rain would come to nothing so I didn’t bother to put a mac on. Big mistake! By the time I got to town I was soaked through and the rain was getting heavier.
And the water in the marina was so calm you couldn’t imagine it was generating much energy at all. But again that’s not correct. Because it’s water within a marina it really wasn’t generating tidal energy. But the mass of water pushing against the marina walls was exerting plenty of hydrostatic energy so fits the theme perfectly!
And on my way home I collected an iced latte which I took home. I’m now drying out while sipping my reward for my rainy outing…
