Neptune

Today we crossed the bridge and tunnel and went to Virginia Beach on the mainland. A very long beach with many hotels and a very long boardwalk. Lots of people were at the beach today on this hot day but the water was cool and refreshing with lots of strong waves. This statue of Neptune was at the edge of the beach and quite impressive. We also got to see many Navy jets doing maneuvers flying overhead, almost seemed like an air show! Another long day and a gorgeous sunset over the water!
