Beaver lodge

Some new friends came over today for a play date. We walked to a beach by the now and the children had a great time paddling and digging in the sandy dirt by the edge.
As the trains are on strike there was a fair bit of maintenance going on and the extra is the maintenance vehicles . Quite clever really as the car and truck that went along the rails had an adapted bogie so they could go on the rails .
We were dismayed to see kids climbing onto the railway bridge to jump into the river. Very sad but a lad did this in June and didn't make it before the train came. He had just graduated from high school and had his whole life before him.
