Postman Pat

Before the heat turned up and our chaotic lunch with Holly, Henny and J, we went to collect an exciting and "huge" parcel from the depo, via Waitrose for an unbelievably free coffee!

We hurried home to open the box and greet two pretty rag dolls, beautifully personalised. A very wonderful surprise and a reminder of how happy it is to receive unexpected joy by old-fashioned post. E immediately took her doll for a walk in her pushchair and off to feed the ducks on her imaginary pond. A chewed her doll's toes by way of introduction!

In sharp contrast to the joy and mainly carefree chaos of lunch, I was distracted by phone calls about, thoughts and prayers for two special sick people, both at hospital today.
