Wheee!!

The duck slide, AKA the weir by the packhorse bridge over the River Lathkill. (The weir included as an extra). C came over again today and we walked over to Bakewell and back, some 16Km altogether. We crossed the Lathkill on the way over and followed the Wye and the Bradford on the way back, with some easyish hills in between in both directions. A lovely walk, and very little rain - if we'd believed the forecast we wouldn't have ventured so far!
