soaring skywards...

...the pigeons are

headed up - up - and up - towards the sun - in a very blue sky...

at first i thought about them skydiving - they appeared so "in tandem" - but they're headed in the wrong direction - boo! there were a quite a number of pigeons flying about in the skies today - not certain why - i was tempted to post some of them in formation- 'cuz i was able to get off several shots of them in perfect form - following each other - on the wing, so to speak - a delight to see - in some instances, a clear leader in sight - as if the one wanted or had to take charge - get ahead - be in front - some are just born leaders, i guess -

but in the end, this was the one i kept coming back to - thought it was striking even though it's not in perfect sharp detail - only because pigeons fly really fast - yet i'm pleased i got them at all - in this particular pose at that - some may not give pigeons the time of day but i believe they are beautiful birds - worthy of attention - so this ended up making my day...
