Along the shore (Day 3394)
My day started with a wander up the hill with Sigyn just as the rain eased off. A bit later I headed to town to get the weekly shop done.
Back home I sorted out a bunch of tools and stuff I thought I might need and loaded them and Sigyn into the truck and made my way to Mum's. Once Sigyn was settled at Mum's, I zoomed off to collect the broken trailer from the horse field, then set about "fixing" it. It was my first attempt at welding anything and I am really glad it is under the trailer where no one will ever see it. It looks awful, but I managed to get it to stick on in pretty much the right place at the around the right angle and I was able to put a huge amount of force on it without it breaking free. I cleared up the tools and took the trailer back to the field.
Back to Mum's for lunch then we got Sigyn and Birsay out for a wander along the shore. Sigyn almost looked like she was enjoying leading the way at a couple of points, but she definitely hasn't relaxed with Birsay yet. It was nice to see Birsay saying hello to Red (extra).
Back to Mum's to drop off Sigyn then a trip to the horses to put out hay and check the horses. First test of the trailer and it stayed together which is a relief, getting caught in a swarm of midges then a downpour wasn't quite so much of a relief.
After collecting Sigyn I headed home to await the return of my beautiful wife.
