Another Roadside Attraction (#7)

I read about this intriguing new farm stand that's under construction and thought I'd take a look at it. It's cob construction (made of water, clay, sand and straw) and is being built by The MudGirls Natural Building Collective for the owners of the Funky Revolution Farm. The farm stand will sell produce and the cob oven will "...churn out fresh-baked pizzas and bread." (Gulf Islands Driftwood, Wednesday July 10, p. 17) You can bet I'll be returning once the stand and oven are finished to see what's on offer! Very cool.
