Gruesome Trifle

It looks like we are in for a heatwave this week. Blazing sun and temperatures hitting over thirty degrees, which the UK is just not designed for. Scorchio! Work turned out to be a little quieter than usual today – it seems everyone is holing up in the shade for the day. Only a few rooms in our building have air conditioning, so for the rest, it was windows open and fans at full blast – and a lot of sweating. I took this image at my desk, looking through a glass of water at the window blinds, which produced some interesting patterns of light and shade. The AI in Photoleap had fun with those, and after a couple of passes through the software, I arrived at this slightly horror-themed result.
