Scarlet pimpernel [Anagallis arvensis]
I take great satisfaction in shooting using my vintage lenses, especially as they are all manual . The added control of which are important to me. Being vintage, a caveat of the modern day, means little. Being M42 mount, means more.
Detail, character, colour rendition & Bokeh are what gives each lens its personality.
This one a Carl Zeis Pancolour DDR f1.8 gives smooth out of focus highlights,a great colour rendition and ample detail. The sharpness average.
I shot with a higher Iso to obtain a higher shutter speed as hand holding and Make allowances for the gusty nature of the wind.
