Splish Splash!

High tide and high winds gave a good opportunity to head to the coast. Also it enabled me to avoid the Bank Holiday Lake District crowds.
Think I missed the best of the wave action by about an hour but it was still pretty decent. Blowing the cobwebs off was a bit of an understatement!
There’s no finer way to pass an hour or so; looking across The Solway Firth to a distant Dumfries and Galloway and getting lashed by the wind and spume.
