A beautiful wedding

Such a shame that the weather was terrible today, the tale end of Storm Lilian I think, as we were going off to the wedding of the son of our friends Heidi and Steve in a country house hotel in Buckinghamshire.  

I went to Pilates first thing and then Christoph and Sarah popped over for a cup of coffee to show us more photos of Tom and Milly’s wedding whilst we ate a quick late breakfast.  

We were on the road in torrential rain by 1.15pm and it was a two hour drive to the venue.  It was a wedding where we had a civil ceremony in the hall of the house and then drinks and dinner elsewhere.  Heidi had included so many touches to do with their families including a couple of tables of various wedding photos in silver frames. It was about a hundred and the service and dinner with more friends joining for the party.  

Lovely evening, we didn’t stay late as another big day coming up tomorrow.
