High Steps

High because they take you up to High St in The Rocks, a good place to explore on an overcast day. The street’s public housing survives, as do the narrow dunny lanes behind the houses that end at sheer rockfaces with yet more steps to Kent St above.

On the way we ticked off another three metro stations, Martin Place, Barangaroo and Victoria Cross. Gadigal still wins for style.
