Pictorial blethers

By blethers

We three ...

Actually we four, but that would spoil the Shakespearean reference, and besides, I'm not in the photo which records a mad sort of day. Two Australians, from Sydney, and Mr Blethers are gazing at the scaffolding on Holy Trinity Church. We met our friends on a river cruise in Russia; today they took a day off another cruise ship that docked in Greenock and came to sample our life. So we walked at the Ardyne, looked at the church, lunched in Loch Fyne Oysters, and hiked up the path from the Rest and Be Thankful carpark to the hill access to Beinn Donich. Then we slung them back onto the Argyll Flyer, and two hours later waved a red towel from the window at two tiny figures on a balcony of the cruise ship Azamara Quest as it headed down the Firth of Clyde on its way north.

As I said, a crazy day. But fun...
