Huge progress on reading progression today! I have bought myself a pair of top bargain, Bluetooth headphones which I have worn much of today just wearing round the house while listening to a story book. Reading normally ends up as this thing info after I have finished everything else so am very happy I can now do both. That doesn't help for my actual book though- this chunky one is the third in the Beartown series is v fat and has words small enough to n m and me feel my eyesight is failing. I am v keen to read it though and have a Sunday morning lie in carved out just for it.

What a huge rainy day! Early walk with Rosie as it was much lighter around 7, we still got soaked! Then the supermarket and the fabric shop for bits for two new projects. Mended two pairs of trousers that have been lying around for ages, went for another swim, made pizzas for tea. Also made a bean stew thing which I v enjoyed, a complete first for me. Am v happy about my continued v select introduction of beans to my diet.

Lay on the sofa completely worn out!!
