NLV Pharos

The Pharos is a lighthouse tender, normally based in Oban, which has been hereabouts for several days, now on her way to Orkney. I took the Trek to Wardie Bay to swim at about an hour after high tide, when there was some sunshine and almost no wind. Saw a couple of terns, one diving for food. Quite a lot of people out on the breakwater for how early it was; mostly people with fishing rods. Talked to a couple of them who said they hadn't caught anything, it was just a good excuse to be out. The long distance swimming person was there again; she'd cycled too.

There was a short sharp shower just after I got back in, and the wind got up during the day. Out after supper; found a c1925 3 litre Bentley with a very poor re-paint job parked along the street .. in extra.
