The future Matt and I hopefully

Today we celebrated my friend, Rachel's, birthday, with going on a beautiful walk along the River Itchen, then diving into the Twyford Locks. There were so many great photos taken by everyone and when I took them I was pretty certain one of those would end up as one of my blips.

Then as we were walking home, I saw this lovely sight of this couple slowing making their way up the side of St Catherine's hill. You may not be able to see from my photo but I would say they were way into their 70's if not older. After every 10 steps or so they would stop, have a breather and take a look around at the view. It was such a touching moment, it really made me stand and think. They looked so beautiful, I just hope Matt and I are like this in the future.
