Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Waiting for Discharge

Yay, I”m glad to say I”m home and even gladder to be here.    Thank you, blip friends for all the concern and comments I just couldn’t keep up with, but appreciated them all. There seemed to be too much going on, too many people to talk to, and life to think about!.  You all know too that the thoracentesis fixes a symptom temporarily  but not the basic problem that caused it.   We were told there may be options back with the cardiac valve folks.  So we won’t rule anything out…. yet.   This doc thinks the recent covid in May caused this pleural effusion with the lungs.   NOT long covid, but the inflammation worked on the lungs.,..  But there are several plain old heart failure reasons as well…it’s complicated…… anyway, I’ve had a longer walk than in the last few months and altho it’s not perfect, I’m grateful.   Also to the UW Hospital and their dedicated people.   It wouldn’t function without the nurses.

Now let’s see if I can get back to “the neighborhood” and away from medicine, and catch up with your blips.
