Chilled Saturday

Chilled Saturday. Got quite a few things done but mostly rested. 

Today would have been my paternal grandmother’s birthday (today’s Blip is an old photo of me and her from the 1980s).

She was the only one of my grandparents that I met as the others passed away before I was born. Her name was Mary Ann.

She died when I was eight years old, my first experience of bereavement.

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful weekend so far, still woefully behind with stars, hearts and comments, I plan to catch up tomorrow as the weather is to be incredibly wet.

Today is Ukraine Independence Day. I’m continuing to enjoy learning Ukrainian via Duolingo :)
